Beverly Bowles

Mrs. Beverly Sue Bowles, age 79, of Marion, IL, died Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at Parkway Manor Nursing Home in Marion, IL. Mrs.Barwick worked at the Boy Scout Office in Herrin she then worked for the Southern Illinoisan News Paper for several years she also hade several rental properties and owned a gift shop. She was of the Baptist faith. She was born in Herrin to Orville and Mildred (Bird) Daffron September 2, 1932 they preceded her in death. Surviving are 1 son John Barwick and girlfriend Terri Wade of Cambria, IL, 2 sisters Pat Pearce of Glendale Arizona and Dixie and husband Mike Carney of Carterville. Also their are 6 grandchildren; Gina and husband Steve Bubanovich, Shelly and husband Chris Bradford of Carterville, Katie Barwick of Caterville, Julie and husband Justin Stearns of Cambria, David James of Energy and Darin Moore of Marion and 4 great grandchildren , son-in-law Terry Moore of Marion and close friends Myrna Wooldridge and LaDonna Waldron both of Herrin. She was preceded in death by 1 daughter Jackie Barwick Moore, brother-in-law Shine Pearce and aunt Jewell Simmons. Arrangements are being handled by Van Natta Funeral Home, 427 South Park, Herrin, IL where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Friday, April 20, 2012. Funeral service will be at Van Natta Funeral Home at 11:00 AM, Friday, April 20, 2012, Rev. Brad Harlow officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery, Carterville, IL Memorials can be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois Inc envelop will be provided by the funeral home
