Mrs. Rhoda Ottolini, 90 died on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at the Washington County Extended Care Center. She was born Sunday, December 2, 1923 in Hartford MI to Earl and Margaret (NEE Stickney) Lee. Rhoda was united in marriage to Angelo C. Ottolini on September 1946 in St. Joseph MI., whom she met during WWII. She was a defense worker and Angelo served in the Army. After the war they married and moved to Herrin. Mrs. Ottolini was retired from Allen Industries and formerly worked with her husband in his business, Ange's Grocery Store on West Monroe. She was a devoted wife to her husband Angelo, active in crafts with the senior center and a member of the Methodist faith. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law Cynthia and David Hardin of Phoenix AZ, one son and daughter-in-law Robin Lee and Georgena Ottolini of Okaville and 1 grandson James Lee Hardin of Phoenix AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents her husband Angelo, 1 grandson Jeremy David Hardin, 1 brother Roger Lee and 4 sisters Barbara Truhn, Louise Engle, Sally Lee and Ann McGriff.Memorials can be mad to donors choice. A funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Monday at Van Natta Funeral Home located at 427 South Park Avenue Herrin, Illinois 62948 with the Rev. Chester Wisely officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00am until 11:00am at the funeral home. Interment will be in San Carlo Cemetery, Herrin, IL.
