Phyllis Law

Phyllis Ann Law, 56, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2015, in Bloomington, IL. She was born June 13, 1958, in Herrin, IL, the daughter of Harry and Victoria Crain. Phyllis graduated from Herrin High School and in 1995 she married Robert Law who survives. Her parents preceded her in death. Phyllis worked in the health care profession for many years in Herrin, Carterville, Carbondale and Bloomington, IL. In addition to her husband, Phyllis is survived by her two sons Steven (Amanda) Coloni, Herrin, IL and Matt Coloni, Normal, IL ; sisters Susan (Ted) Sipe, Holton, KS, and Dr. Julie Crain (Dr. Thimios Zaharopoulos), Athens, Greece; brothers Stephen (Barbara) Crain, The Woodlands, TX, and Mark (Diane) Crain, Sterling, VA. Phyllis was also doting grandmother to Makayla and Zoe Coloni. She is also survived by in-laws Larry and Sue Fields and Joe Phillips all of Harrisburg, IL, aunt, Beverly Brown, Branson, MO and many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 10, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Van Natta Funeral Home in Herrin. A funeral mass will be held at our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Herrin, IL, on Saturday, April 11, 2015, at 10:00 a.m with burial following at Herrin City Cemetery.
