Alice Wallace

Mrs. Alice Wallace, age 89, of Herrin, IL, died Monday, April 27, 2015, at 12:30 pm in the Shawnee Christian Nursing Center in Herrin, IL. She was a member of the Hurricane Memorial Baptist Church. She was born in Springfield Ill to John and Leonora (Burch) Weaver January 4, 1926. Mrs. Wallace was married to Pete Wallace and he died in 2005. She is survived by 2 daughter Gwen Kelley of Herrin ,Kelly A. Skelly of Baltimore MD and 5 grandchildren and 6 great gr. Children. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 1 son Greg Wallace. Arrangements are being handled by Van Natta Funeral Home, 427 South Park, Herrin, IL where the family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Funeral service will be at Van Natta Funeral Home at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, April 29, 2015.
