Mrs. Jeanette Sissy Sollami, 72 of Carterville, Illinois died on Saturday, June 23, 2017, at her home in Carterville, Illinois. Born Wednesday, September 6, 1944 in Carbondale, Illinois to Vernell and Geneel (Housewright) Baggett they preceded her in death. Surviving are daughter, Madeline and Ron Taitt of Carterville, IL. one sister Susie and Marvin Cannon of Energy, two brothers, Mike and Teri Baggett of Benton and Randy and Kelly Baggett of Energy. Also surviving is 2 grandsons, Alec "A. J." and Hanna Taitt and Colten Taitt both of Herrin, 1 Great grand daughter Shiloe. She was also preceded in death by 1 sister Joyce Butcher and several nieces and nephews. Jeanette was a RN and worked at the Herrin Hospital until her retirement, she also was a volunteer for the Williamson Tourism Herrin Civic Center and the Williamson County Pavilion. Memorial donations can be made to American Cancer Society. A Funeral service will be at 12:00 PM on Tuesday at Van Natta Funeral Home located at 427 South Park Avenue Herrin, Illinois 62948 with the Mons. Kenneth Schaefer officiating. Interment will be in San Carlo Cemetery, Herrin, IL. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at Van Natta Funeral Home, 427 South Park Avenue , Herrin, Illinois.
