James Charles Jeralds

James Charles Jeralds 57, beloved husband, father and pep-aw, passed away on Thursday May 20, 2021 at the Herrin Hospital. James was born August 9, 1963 in Herrin to Charles and Alta (Frailey) Jeralds they preceded him in death. James was a 22 year member of Labors Local 733 Marion and was employed by Rodney Johnson Trucking Company. he was an avid fisherman, Drag racing, Motocross and camping. Mr. Jeralds is survived by his wife Dana (Davis) Jeralds, two children, Kayley and husband Daniel Fuller of West Frankfort and Chris Jeralds and fiance Liz of Herrin. Also surviving is 2 sisters, Diana Millikan of Cave in Rock, Diana Wade of Herrin and 1 brother Tommy Jeralds of Herrin. He has 3 grand children Remyngton , Charli, Ramzie and 1 niece and several nephews. He was preceded in death by 1 brother Terry. Services will be Wednesday May 26, 2021 at the Van Natta Funeral Home and visitation will be also on Wednesday at the funeral home starting at 11:00 am. Rev. Ralph Brandon will officiate and burial will be in the Egyptian Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Friend that are attending are asked to drive you classic or muscle car which James loved.
