**In Loving Memory of Judith D. Monteith**

Judith D. Monteith, a cherished soul, departed this life on September 8, 2024, at Deaconess Regional Hospital in Marion. Born on October 23, 1946, in Herrin, she was a beloved daughter to John and Naomi (Keifer) Domineck. Judith was married to John Monteith and he passed away on Dec 25,2023.

Judith's family was her pride and joy. is survived by her devoted daughter, Diane Josten, and her beloved grandson Dakota Josten and his wife Rachael, all of Herrin. Judith also shared a special bond with her sister, Gwen Bond, and leaves behind several treasured nieces and nephews who will remember her fondly.

Judith had a vibrant spirit and a strong work ethic that defined her life. She dedicated many years to Maytag in Herrin before embarking on an adventurous journey as the owner and operator of the Time Out Sports Bar, where she created lasting memories for all who visited.

Her life will be celebrated during a service on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at 12:00 PM, led by Rev. Michael Tetmeyer. Friends and family are invited to gather for visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of service at Van Natta Funeral Home in Herrin.

Judith's kindness and warmth touched the lives of many. She will be dearly missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
