Mrs. Marion (Bonnie) L. Ray, 85 of Herrin, Illinois died on Saturday, April 14, 2018, at Shawnee Christian Nursing Center in Herrin, Illinois.Born Monday, August 15, 1932 in Pinckneyville, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Charles Stahlheber and the late Flossie Conner Stahlheber. She was married to James (Tuck) Talley who preceded her in death then later married James Robert Ray they shared 21 years of marriage.Surviving are 3 sons, Ron and Paulina Talley, James A. and Kelly Talley both of Benton, James R. and Angel Ray of Carterville, IL., and 1 daughter, Verneda and Marty McEndree of Benton. also surviving is 1 sister Mona Baker of Chillicothe Illinois, grandchildren Tara Talley, Tanya and husband Brian Keziah, Bonneda and husband Nate Levernz, T.J. and wife Amanda Jones, Eathan and Kaitlyn Talley and Christian Ray. there are 7 great grandchildren, Kaden , Kori and Abram Leverenz, Kylie Keziah, Alyvia Talley, Haden and Ty Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, 1 son Christopher, sister Delores Ward, Mary Beth Harlow, Lillie Darlene Slover, and parents A graveside memorial service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday at Benton Masonic & Odd fellows Cemetery located at Rt. 37 South Benton, Illinois 62812. Inurnment will be in Benton Masonic & Odd fellows Cemetery, Benton, IL. we would like to thank everyone from Shawnee Christian Nursing Home how took excellent care of her.
