Mr. Nathan Allen Rubenacker, age 33, of Herrin, IL, died Saturday, October 27, 2018, at Herrin Hospital in Herrin, IL after a brief battle with brain cancer. Mr. Rubenacker was an employee of Aisin Manufacturing Marion Illinois. He was born in Harrisburg Ill., June 10,1985 to Melvin Rubenacker Jr. and Melissa (Green) Owens and they survive, Nathan graduated from Mc Leansboro High . He married Kaitlin Austin May 6,2017 school.He was musician in several bands such as Bully Dependo, The First Cause, and Six to Midnight. His biggest musical inspiration was Cliff Burton of Metallica.He is also survived by his wife: Kaitlin (Austin) Rubenacker they were married at Ferne Clyffe State Park May 6, 2017. He also survived by two daughters, Lailah Rubenacker of Grayville, and Mila Rubenacker of Herrin, 1 sister Courtney Smith of McLeansboro, Mother and step father-in-law Katrina and Joe Duffy of Texico Ill, father in law , Wallace Austin of El Paso Texas. Also surviving are two nieces and one nephew Ciera and Zander Smith of McLeansboro and Gracie Austin of Mt. Vernon, brother and sister-in-law Joseph and Anna Duffy of Texico, Grandfathers Melvin Rubenacker Sr. and Thomas Lemmons both of McLeansboro. Nathan was survived also by several aunts , uncles and cousins and special friends Julie and Jim Fleeman of Macedonia Ill.. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers Freida Rubenacker and Mary Lemmons, one nephew Braden Smith and 1 aunt Kathy Smith.Arrangements are being handled by Van Natta Funeral Home, 427 South Park, Herrin, IL where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, October 31, 2018. Funeral service will be at Van Natta Funeral Home at 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 1, 2018, Rev. Perry Case officiating. Interment will be at Herrin City Cemetery, Herrin, IL
