Thomas Ellison

Mr. Thomas Ellison, age 65, of Herrin, IL, died Thursday, July 30, 2020, at Shawnee Christian Nursing Center in Herrin, IL. Mr.Ellison was employed by V.A. Medical Center from 1991 to 2005. He was a Veteran of the Air force form 1979-1990 as a Military Police Officer. He was the son of the late Lawrence Ellison and the late Mary Reeder Also preceding him in death was 3 sisters, Stella, Pearl and Joan, one son Adam and 1 grandson Billy. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and love to read. He is also survived by his wife: Gwen (Finney) Ellison. One Daughter: Beth Mays Two Sons: Chad and Becky Ellison Scott and Kim Ellison One Sister: Nancy and Ron Keller One Brother: Steve Ellison Arrangements are being handled by Van Natta Funeral Home, 427 South Park, Herrin, IL Funeral visitation will be at Van Natta Funeral Home at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, August 4, 2020 untill 8:00pm.
