Trenton John Miller, age 31, passed away on October 18, 2023 in Jackson County, leaving behind a deep void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Born in Marion, Illinois to his loving parents John and
Linda (Hill) Miller, Trenton's memory will be forever cherished by those fortunate enough to have been
touched by his presence.
He leaves behind John’s wife and stepmother Julie Miller of Carterville, and Bradley of Herrin who Trenton loved like a son. He will be dearly missed by his two beloved brothers: Dallas
Graham of Marion and Zachary (accompanied by his wife Sarah) Miller of Calhan, Colorado; as well as
His cherished sister Rachelle and her husband Jeremy Rich of Elizabethtown. Trenton also a had a
special bond with his aunt Linda Craig of Herrin.
In addition to his immediate family, Trenton leaves behind a legacy that extends through generations.
He is survived by his grandparents Sarah Knapp of West Frankfort, Marie Hill of Peoria and Marcella
Randolph of Marion. Although he is preceded in death by his grandparents Donald Knapp, Ed Hill,
Pauline and Carl Miller, and his uncle David Craig. He leaves behind not only his immediate family but
also numerous beloved cousins, as well as Uncles Leroy (accompanied by his wife Cheri) Hill of
Eminence Mo, John Hill of West Frankfort, and Rusty Randolph of Marion.
Trenton embraced life with determination and pursued academic excellence. He dedicated himself to
EMAC, Inc. in Carbondale, where he displayed an unwavering commitment to his work. Holding a
Bachelor’s degree in computer and electrical engineering he received from SIU in Carbondale, Trenton's
intellectual curiosity propelled him into success.
From an early age, Trenton found solace in nature's embrace. An avid outdoorsman, he formed an
unbreakable bond with his father while fishing and hunting together. These shared moments became treasured
memories which will be held close to the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to join them on those
adventures. Trenton's gentle spirit touched the lives of many, and his absence will be deeply felt. As we
mourn his passing, let us also celebrate the vibrant life he lived and the love he shared.
Today we say goodbye to a cherished son, grandson, brother, nephew and friend. Trenton John Miller's
memory will forever remind us to live with passion, to cherish our loved ones without reservation, and to
find solace in the beauty of nature which brought him so much joy. Funeral services will be on Monday, at 1:00 pm
October 23, 2023 at the Van Natta Funeral Home in Herrin, visitation will begin at 11:00am until time of
the service with Rev. Ralph Brandon officiating. Burial will be at the Egyptian Memorial Gardens
Cemetery in Herrin.
